iConsole

The iConsole delivers extensive benefits, including much simplified deployment and upgrade procedures and a significant reduction in maintenance and support overheads. It also minimizes the impact on network bandwidth and allows end-users to access a CMS over the Internet (for example, by using a virtual private network). Because it is browser-based, it is also highly suitable for deployment in hot desking environments or a disaster recovery situation. This section describes how to deploy the iConsole and its supporting Web services.

Note: iConsole searches and reports are covered in the following chapter.
