EMC EmailXtender Integration
To complete the integration setup
- Install the EmailXtender Connector for Orchestria: After installing the RDM, you need to install this connector, ExOConnSetup.exe, on the RDM host machine. This enables the RDM to connect to the EmailExtender server.
Note: This connector is supplied by EMC. It has not been rebranded to reflect the product name change from ‘Orchestria APM’ to ‘CA DLP’ in r12.0.
- Install a Notes client: Only required for integration with EMC EmailXtender for Lotus Domino. In step 5 of Install the RDM, you selected EMC EmailXtender for Lotus Domino. This component also requires a Notes client with specific rights and a suitable password:
- Install a Notes client. The default user for this client must have sufficient rights to create a Notes database on the RDM server.
- Create a password for the Notes client account and store it in the registry. From a command prompt in the \system subfolder in the CA DLP installation folder, run:
wgncred -set
This displays a list of components for which passwords are stored plus their corresponding ID numbers and component identifiers.
- When prompted, enter the ID number for RDMEELDClient.
- When prompted, enter and confirm your chosen password for the Notes client account.
