Operation Parameters

Important! Each command must specify at least one of the following parameters:

/ca

Specifies that CA DLP creates new user accounts for unknown users. That is, it creates a new account for any user in the LDAP directory or data file who has no corresponding account in CA DLP. Where necessary, it also creates new groups to hold these new users, based on the equivalent containers in the LDAP directory.

/re

Reorganizes the existing hierarchy of CA DLP users to synchronize it with the hierarchical structure of the LDAP directory or data file.

/at

Updates existing CA DLP user accounts with attributes imported from corresponding users in the LDAP directory or data file.

Important! You must include the /at parameter if you want to specify attributes using the /al and /ml parameters.
