The executable modules for CA Copycat Utility are installed into CAI.CAILINK. This data set is shared with other CA products and is intended to be added to your system LINKLIST. If you have not done so already, update your LINKLIST to include CAI.CAILINK.
CA Copycat Utility does not provide a started task that must be configured, however either CA 1 or CA TLMS must be active on the system where the CA Copycat Utility batch jobs execute.
CA Copycat Utility dynamically determines which tape management system to interface to based on entries in the z/OS subsystem name table.
Use the sample jobs provided in CAI.CTAPJCL to perform the desired copy or tape map functions:
