How You Install Console Manager
The installation consists of a number of steps designed to check your system, install Console Manager, and then initialize Console Manager. You must complete the following tasks in the following order:
- Mount the distribution media
- Run the Installation Procedure
- Specify a temporary directory to unzip the savesets
- Check your system backup
- View and accept the License Agreement
- Start Console Manager after the installation
- Run the Installation Verification Procedure
- Purge previous version files
- Choose to install the British English UID files
- Specify Users Privileges
- Install Background Bitmap Files (optional)
- Choose if the IVP Runs Graphical Tests
- Choose a Product Directory Location
- Specify the directory for CA NSM Integration
- Specify the UIC of the CAUNIVMS account
- Activate the CA NSM Integration Components (optional)
- Choose the Products for Automatic Startup
- Stop CAM and CAFT
- Remove CAM
- Specify the CA NSM Manager System
