In order to upgrade from an older version, Console Manager must have been started since the last system boot, or the Console Manager logical names must be defined. To define the logical names, run the command
$ @sys$startup:console$manager$startup.com logicals
If the Console Manager logical names are not defined, the installation will exit.
When upgrading from previous versions of Console Manager, the installation procedure, in order to provide IPv6 support, shuts down CA NSM Integration and CAM. It uninstalls the previous version of CAM, if detected.
