CANCEL(option)

Controls whether CAIENF can be canceled or not; the default is NO.

This command has the following options:

YES

Allows CAIENF to be canceled at any time.

NO

Does not allow CAIENF to be canceled at any time unless a CANCEL(YES) command is entered.

Note: Forcing or canceling the CAIENF address space has adverse effects on products that use CAIENF services. This should be avoided and used only when there are no other options available during a crisis situation or it may force an unscheduled IPL. During ENF shutdown, the address space becomes cancelable. This allows ENF to be cancelled if shutdown does not complete.
