Compile and Link Online (USS)

You can compile and link online within USS.

To run the example agent online

  1. Perform the procedure to Execute the agentworks.profile
  2. Position yourself within the example agent directory: 
    cd /$AGENTWORKS_DIR/agents/samples/exagent
  3. Invoke the command: 
    make install

    This command compiles and links the example agent and copies the executable into the agents/bin directory.

  4. Start the example agent, by invoking the command: 
    exagent start
