On any system where ENF event recording is turned on, you need a CA Datacom/AD database as described in the ENF Installation Considerations section of this guide.
A separate Datacom ENF database is required on each system that is recording events. The Datacom ENF database cannot be shared. Each system requires its own CA Datacom/AD MUF that runs either within the ENF address space (ENFIMUF), or external to the ENF address space (ENFXMUF). A complete CA Datacom/AD installation is not required on each system. The same Datacom CAAXLOAD and CUSLIB data sets can be used as long as the same CA Datacom/AD SVC number and SUBID number are used on each system. If a different SVC number or SUBID number has to be used on a particular system, then that system requires its own CUSLIB data set.
