CA scheduling engines can request that their work be run by another CA scheduling engine on a different platform. This is known as cross platform scheduling. For example, CA 7 Workload Automation can request that a CA NSM Workload job be run.
This section describes some considerations for the XPS client, and CAICCI and z/OS connections when using cross platform scheduling.
