The Event Notification Facility (CAIENF) is an operating system interface service that enables CA applications to obtain event data from z/OS and subsystems such as CICS, DB2, and USS. The centralization of operating system interfaces in CAIENF provides important efficiency benefits while enhancing overall system integrity and providing a single point of control.
