The following is a workflow of how requirements planning works:

1. Create the requirements.
2. Create the releases.
3. Create the release plan.
4. Add the releases to the release plan.
5. Do one of the following:
   • Add the requirements to the release plan.
   • Add the requirements to the release.
6. Approve the release.
