How to Work with Subprojects (Microsoft Project)

You can insert CA Clarity PPM projects as subprojects into a project open in Microsoft project. Subprojects load or open as read/write or read-only depending on how the master is opened and on the read/write status of each of the subprojects.

You can do the following:

• Retrieve subprojects.
• Save subprojects.

When you open master projects in Microsoft Project, subprojects are opened and linked to their master projects. In Microsoft Project, a shared resource pool project is created when resources are shared across multiple projects.
