Save Existing Projects to CA Clarity PPM

You must have edit rights to save an existing project back to CA Clarity PPM. You must also have a lock on the project.

In general, you cannot save back to CA Clarity PPM if the project is locked by another user, or if you do not have a lock on it. If necessary, you can force a save.

Once you have saved your existing project, you can continue to make changes to the project, even when it is locked.

To save existing projects

  1. With the project open in Microsoft Project, select Save To from the CA Clarity PPM Integration menu or toolbar.

The project remains open and locked.

If you do not have a lock on the project, a message appears asking if you want to force a save. Click Yes to save or click and No to cancel.
