Associations are defined from main resource and role properties pages, which become available once you create the resource or role. With the resource open, you can access the information from tabs that allow you to define associations. You can also access the Resource Properties page by clicking the name of a resource or role from the resource list.
Use the following tabs to define the resource and role associations:
This tab contains the profile information you entered when creating the resource or role. You can edit these fields, and define additional resource, group, and OBS access to the resource or role. Use the Contact Information subtab on the properties page to identify business phone and address information for the resource.
Note: Use the Financial subtab on the properties page to enable financial transactions for this resource to post to CA Clarity PPM and display on the application's financial pages and reports. If a resource is not financially enabled, financial actuals will not be visible in CA Clarity PPM.
This tab lists all of the projects to which the resource or role has been added. You can use this tab to add and remove projects to and from the resource's workload, and to edit the amount of time the resource or role has been allocated to a project.
Use this tab to view a list of skills associated to a labor resource, and to add or edit skill information. Associating skills with labor resources can be particularly helpful for those trying to match labor resources to roles and projects.
This tab displays the resource's calendar by month. Use this to view scheduling exceptions, such as special non-workdays or shift information, if you have identified such information. You can change calendar information for those resource to which you have the Resource - Edit access right.
Use this tab to attach documents, such as a resume, to the resource's profile.
