You can create calendar events from any calendar view—day, week, or month from the Organizer: Calendar Events page. You can complete just the required fields and then return to complete the remaining fields as you have the information available.
Use the Event Properties page to define your new calendar event. You can access the Event Properties page by clicking Events from the Organizer: Calendar Day View - Personal page, and then clicking New.
To create a new calendar event
The Organizer: Action Items page appears.
The Organizer: Calendar Day View - Personal page appears.
The Event Properties page appears.
Defines the name for the event.
Defines the location for the event.
Defines the description of the event.
Specifies the date on which the event is to occur.
Specifies the time at which the event is to start.
Indicates the event’s duration.
Indicates if you want the event to reoccur.
Specifies the time period in which the event will reoccur.
Values: Days, Weeks, Months, and Years
Specifies the last date on which the event will reoccur.
The Browse Resources page appears.
The Event Properties page appears.
The Check Availability page appears. The final invited project participants or groups display in the participants list.
Indicates if an email notification is sent to invitees.
Indicates if a reminder is sent to invitees about the event.
Specifies when the reminder is sent.
Values: minutes, hours, days, or weeks
The Organizer: Calendar Day View - Personal page appears. The event displays on your calendar on the event date, and is listed on the Organizer: Calendar Events page.
