To perform a basic search from the global toolbar, enter all or part of the term you want to search for in the global search field, and then click Search. The Search Results page appears displaying a list of all items to which you have rights to view and that match the criteria you specified. Search results are listed in reverse chronological order.
Keep these guidelines in mind when entering terms in the global search field:
To perform a wildcard search, enter all or part of the search criteria. You do not need to append your entry with a wildcard character (*). Basic search is not case sensitive. For example, "Orange", "orange", and "ORANGE" all return the same results.
If you enter the search phrase Resource Profile List without quotations, the application searches for items that contain any of these words in any order. However, if you enter the search phrase in quotation marks, such as Resource Profile List, only instances of the exact string are returned.
Do not use the following characters in basic searches:
