Add an Aggregation Row for a Number Field to a Grid Portlet

An aggregation row shows statistical data for money or number fields that display in the aggregration row. You can choose from a number of mathematical functions to apply to the individual fields you choose for the row. You can choose maximum, minimum, average, sum, count, standard deviation, and variance.

To add an aggregation row to a grid portlet

  1. With the grid portlet open, click Aggregation under the List Column Section content menu.

    The Grid Portlet: List Aggregation page appears.

  2. Click Add.

    The Aggregation Row Properties page appears.

  3. Complete the following fields:
    Label

    Defines the name for the aggregation row. Enter the name you want to appear.

    Show

    Determines whether the name of the aggregation row is displayed. Select the check box to display the name.

    Attribute

    Specifies the field value that is to be used for aggregation. Note that all fields that you have selected for the grid portlet are present for selection but do not have to be included in the aggregation row.

    Function

    Specifies the aggregation function used to calculate values for a selected field (cell) in the row.

  4. Click Submit.

    The Grid Portlet: List Aggregation page appears.
