Create a Project in CA Clarity PPM (Microsoft Project)

You can create a project in CA Clarity PPM and if desired, develop its plan.

Note: See the Project Management User Guide for more information.

To create and develop a project in CA Clarity PPM

  1. On the Projects page, click new to create a new project. Define the project giving it a unique Project ID. Click Submit.
  2. On the Projects page, click the new project to edit its properties. Change the Scheduler Format to Microsoft Project. Click Save.

    Note: If the Scheduler Format field does not appear on Create New Project page or any one of the Project Properties pages, contact your CA Clarity PPM administrator for assistance.

  3. Develop the project in CA Clarity PPM as desired, or update the project in Microsoft Project.
