Add Resources to Projects Using CA Clarity PPM (Microsoft Project)

You can allocate resources in CA Clarity PPM by:

To add a resource to a project

  1. Click the project link from the Projects page in CA Clarity PPM to edit its properties.
  2. On the Staff subtab, click Add to add a resource to your project or click Requisition to request a resource.

    Depending on your selection, a page to search for and select resources appears, or a page to create a requisition appears.

    A single role can be allocated to the same project more than once. Accordingly, a role may appear more than once on the Project Team: Staff page. Each additional occurrence of the same role is appended by a number (for example, Programmer 1, Programmer 2, and so on), so you can tell them apart.
