The following describes the options available when you select the Local-Hash partitioning type in the Partitions tab:
When you select this option, you must select one of the following options for Partition Definition:
Click the 
button to open the Oracle Select Tablespaces Dialog to add a tablespace to the Tablespace list box.
Select this option to create individual partitions. Enter a value in the Partition Name column. When you click on the button within the Edit Properties column, it opens the Oracle Partition Storage Dialog.
Note: The Partitions grid is populated with the number of rows equal to the number of partitions for the table or materialized view to which the index belongs. If you delete or change any partitions for the table or materialized view (from the Oracle Table Editor or Oracle Materialized Views Editor), the grid will refresh to reflect those changes.
