The Oracle Server Directories Editor is available only for Oracle 9i and 10g. Use the Oracle Server Directories Editor to create new directories, or rename or delete existing directories.

The Oracle Server Directories Editor dialog includes the following tabs:
General Select the path (location) of the directory.
Dependencies Displays any dependencies for the directory that you entered in the Table Editor.
Comment Add or edit comments for a directory.
UDP Enter a user-defined property value for a directory.
The following describes all of the other options available in this dialog:
Contains all the available directories in the current model.
Creates a new directory. Opens the Create Directory dialog where you can specify the name for the new directory.
Renames a directory that you select from the Directory list box. Opens the Rename Directory <Directory Name> dialog where you can assign a different name to the selected directory.
Select a directory from the Directory list box that you want to delete, and click the Delete button.
Assigns a database Owner to the selected directory.
Generates DDL for this object during Forward Engineering. If you do not select the check box, no DDL will be generated for this object during Forward Engineering.
Starts the Complete Compare task so you can synchronize the physical objects defined in your model with the information stored on the server.
