Use the Materialized View Columns Editor to view and update the properties for a column in a materialized view. You can open the Materialized View Columns Editor in one of the following ways:
The Materialized View Columns Editor dialog includes the following tabs:
General Assign a domain to a materialized view column.
Select Edit the selected materialized view column expression.
Comment Add or edit comments for a materialized view column.
UDP Enter user-defined property values for a materialized view column.
The following describes all of the other options available in this dialog:
A list box that displays the currently selected materialized view. Click the
button to open the Materialized Views editor where you can enter or edit materialized view properties.
Displays the columns in the selected materialized view.
Moves the selected column up one position in the Column list.
Moves the selected column down one position in the Column list.
Select New to create a new materialized view column. Opens the New Materialized View Column dialog where you can add a materialized view column expression to the materialized view.
Select Rename to rename a column that you select from the Column list. Opens the Rename Column dialog where you can change the column name.
Deletes the selected materialized view column from the materialized view.
Opens the Reset Column Property dialog where you can reset one or more properties of the selected column to the default setting specified by the associated domain.
Starts the Complete Compare task so you can synchronize the physical objects defined in your model with the information stored on the server.
