Column Editor Dialog - General Tab

The following describes the options for the General tab in the Column Editor dialog:

Domain

Select a domain from the list to attach it to the selected column. Double-click the column name or click on the button to open the Domain Dictionary dialog.

Sort

Select one of the following sort options:

Alphabetically

Sorts the domains in alphabetical order

Hierarchically

Sorts the domains by their hierarchy

Primary Key

Includes the selected column in the primary key. Clear this check box to make the column a non-key column.

Physical Only

Includes the selected column in the physical model only. Clear this check box to have a corresponding attribute for this column in the logical model. If you are working with a physical-only model and you select this check box, when you derive a new logical-only model, the selected attributes will not appear in the new model.
