Specify Error Table Options

You can use the Error table tab to specify to generate an error table and error table options. This option is available in a Teradata 12 physical model. This tab does not appear when you are working with Teradata 2.6.

To specify error table options

1. Click Tables on the Model menu.

   The Table Editor opens.

2. Select the table you want to work with, then click the Error table tab. Work with the following options:

   Generate Error Table

   Generates an error table for the selected table.

   Error Table Name

   Specifies the error table name.

   Error Table Database Ref

   Specifies the error table database. Select a database from the drop-down menu.

   You can enter an optional comment in the Error Table Comment region.

3. Click Close.

   The error table options are defined and the Table Editor closes.
