Set Other Model Source Options

If your source model includes transforms, use the Options pane of the Add Model Source wizard to set options for automatically resolving transforms when the source model is added.

To set other model source options

1. Click Add Model Source on the Tools menu.

   The Add Model Source Wizard opens on the Source Model pane.

2. Click the Options link in the Explorer pane.

   The Options pane opens.

3. Work with the following options to Auto-Transform Logical Objects:

   Many-to-Many relationships

   Specifies that many-to-many relationships in the source model are resolved in the target model.

   Supertype/Subtype

   Specifies that supertype/subtype relationships in the source model are resolved in the target model.

   Note: When you resolve a transform you preserve the model objects that the transform creates but delete the source objects and the transform itself.

4. Click Add.

   The Add Model Source wizard closes, and the source objects are added to your target model in the main workspace.

Note: You are prompted to close the model source that was opened during the Add Model Source process.
