Red Brick Table Synonyms

When you select Red Brick as your target server, support for table synonyms and other Red Brick database constructs is provided.

SYNONYM

Displays the synonym names for the current table.

New

Opens the New Synonym dialog to add a synonym for the selected table.

Rename

Opens the Rename Synonym dialog to change the name of the selected synonym.

Delete

Deletes the selected synonym.

You can specify the following parameter for each SYNONYM. See your SQL vendor's documentation for more information about this option.
