Lay Out All Relationship Lines Automatically

You can lay out all the relationship lines in your model. This feature improves the appearance of the model, in cases where objects have been added or moved frequently.

To lay out all entities, tables, and views automatically

  1. Click Preferences on the Format menu.

    The Format Preferences dialog opens.

  2. In the Relationship Line Layout box, click Redraw All Relationship Lines on the Layout tab.

    All relationship lines in your model are automatically laid out.

  3. Click OK.

    The Format Preferences dialog closes.
