Delete a Relationship

During modeling activities, you may need to delete a relationship that should no longer be used.

To delete a relationship

1. Click Relationships on the Model menu.

   The Relationships dialog opens.

2. Select the relationship that you want to delete from the Relationship drop-down list, and click the Delete button.

   A dialog opens asking you if you want to delete the relation.

3. Click Yes.

   The dialog closes and the relationship is deleted.

4. Click OK.

   The Relationships dialog closes.

Note: When you delete a relationship, the contributed foreign key attributes, foreign key columns, or view columns are automatically removed from the child entity, table, or view.
