Define Teradata Replication Groups

You can use the Replication Group editor to create and manage replication group definitionsin a Teradata physical model.

To define Teradata replication groups

  1. Click Replication Groups on the Database menu.

    The Replication Group Editor opens.

  2. Select a replication group and work with the following options:

    Note: Click New <New> icon in property editors on the toolbar to create a new replication group.

    Name

    Specifies the name of the replication group.

    Generate

    Generates DDL for this object during Forward Engineering.

  3. Work with the following fields on the General tab:
    Entities

    Select all the entities that are assigned to this replication group.

  4. (Optional) Click the Comment tab and enter any comments you want associated with the replication group.
  5. (Optional) Click the UDP tab to work with user-defined properties for the replication group.
  6. Click Close.

    The Replication Group Editor closes.
