Create a Table Alias Name

To create a table alias name

1. In the physical model, right-click a table, select Table Properties, and select Synonym.
2. Select New.
3. Enter the alias name in the Name box and click OK.
4. Clear the Synonym check box (DB2 z/OS only).
5. Optionally enter a comment in the Comment box or provide the name of the database in which the alias is valid in the Database box.
6. Click OK.

Note: Alias names for tables are only available if your target server supports this functionality.
