Change a Logical Domain Name

You can work with features in the Domain Dictionary dialog to change a domain name in the logical model.

To change a logical domain name

1. Click Domain Dictionary on the Model menu.

   The Domain Dictionary dialog opens.

2. Select the domain with the name you want to change from the Domain list, and click the Rename button.

   The Rename Domain dialog opens.

3. Edit the name in the Logical Name box and click OK.

   The Rename Domain dialog closes and you return to the Domain Dictionary dialog.

4. Click OK.

   The Domain Dictionary dialog closes.

Note: You cannot rename the standard domains (<default>, Blob, Datetime, Number, and String).
