Base URI

The base URI is the following:

<version>

Specifies the version of the SMI framework is to be queried. The current version of SMI is “0.5”.

<type>

Specifies the format of the output. The supported formats are json and xml.

The format is defined as part of the resource definition in <type>

XML

The Insight API can pass standard XML data back to the calling application.

JSON

The Insight API can pass standard JSON data back to the calling application.
