One can tell z/OS how to physically arrange the modules in LPA. This lets the systems programmer put modules that are frequently accessed in the same page. This is done through the IEAPAKxx member of parmlib. You can use the Parmlib IPL Map display (2.1.1) to select and browse this member.
LPA is controlled primarily by controlling access to the LPA libraries. The data center should have documentation that defines the purpose, use, and function of any modules other than those that IBM normally recommends data centers to place in LPA.
