Select Data Set Prefix

The first time that you use CA Auditor, the system asks you to indicate the data set prefix that the data center uses for key z/OS data sets. CA Auditor saves your response in your user profile. The Data Set Prefix function records the prefix that your data center uses for the key z/OS system data sets. Typically, this prefix is SYS1, but some data centers use a different prefix. You can change the prefix at any time during an CA Auditor session.

To change the data set prefix

1. Select option 0 from the Primary menu.

   The Change User Profile Information menu is displayed.

2. Select option 5.

   The Change User Profile Information menu is displayed.

3. Select option 1.

   The Select Data Set Prefix screen is displayed.

4. Enter the high‑level qualifier that you want CA Auditor to use to construct the data set names of the IMAGELIB and NUCLEUS data sets.
