Search JCL Libraries

The JCL Search Library and Display option scans any library that contains JCL and selects all members that match the selection criteria. You can enter any combination of job names, program names, parameter (PARM) information, ddnames, unit, time, region, data set name references, or volume serial number references as selection criteria. CA Auditor can scan JCL stored in standard partitioned data sets (PDSs), partitioned data sets extended (PDSEs), CAI.CAILIB libraries, or CA Panvalet libraries.

To scan a library for JCL

1. From the Primary menu, select option 4.

   The Job Information menu is displayed.

2. Select option 3.

   The Enter JCL Search Data screen is displayed.

3. Enter your search criteria.

   The members that meet the criteria are displayed.

4. To browse a member, enter S (Select) or B (Browse) next it.
5. (Optional) To freeze a member enter F next to it.
