File Comparison

You can display changes that occurred between different versions of files, including those in CA Librarian, Endevor, and CA Panvalet libraries.

Load modules are compared using the Program Comparison option, not the File Comparison option.

To compare files

From the Primary menu, select option 6.
The File Information Menu is displayed.
Select option 4.
The File Comparison screen is displayed.
Enter the names of the files you want to compare. You can also enter the columns to compare and a file in which to store the output from the comparison.
The File Compare Results screen is displayed. For information on the fields on this screen, press F1 (Help).
