Removing a Non-SMP/E Installation

If CA Auditor was installed without SMP/E, use this procedure to remove it.

To remove CA Auditor from your system

  1. (Optional) To save the user description records and system analysis data that CA Auditor collected, make a copy of the user profile database. For information, see the appendix “Backing Up the User Profile Database”.
  2. Use the ISPF/PDF Data Set Utility to delete CA Auditor data sets:
  3. If CA Auditor was added to local TSO logon procedures, delete those references from the procedure concatenations. Remove the DBASE1 and DBASE2 DD statements entirely:
  4. If you used the CA Auditor CA Panvalet interface, you can also delete the reference to the runtime CA Panvalet program library in the ISPLLIB concatenation. For information, see the appendix “Interfacing with Other Products”.
