Resource Access Authority

If your site uses SNMP traps or CA Audit events with CA Auditor, you may need security system permission for read access to the CAEXAMIN class resources. Read access is necessary if the:

• TRAPAUTH-SAF parameter is specified in the central parameter file OPTIONS member
• ETAUDIT-SAF parameter is specified in the central parameter file ETAOPTNS member

In this case, a SAF call is issued whenever a user performs an action that tries to generate an SNMP trap or an CA Audit event.
