The user profile database, prefix.EXAMINE.DBASE1 (prefix.CAIDBS1 for SMP/E installations), contains a profile record for each CA Auditor user. This record contains the user’s skill and experience levels, session options, and other individual customization information.
Many CA Auditor functions save system status information for later recall and comparison. These functions include the Program and File Freezer operations and the documentation facilities of Console Analysis, System Exit Analysis, and I/O Appendage Analysis. Use of these functions can increase the space that is required for the user profile database.
The user profile database is a partitioned data set (PDS). The initial primary space allocation is 1000 blocks of 6 KB with a 30‑block secondary extent and 230 directory blocks.
If the user profile database runs out of space, you can receive an x37 abend. If this occurs:
