Allocate the Central Parameter File

The JCL for this job is in the ALLCCPRM member of the CAJ0JCL0 library.

Follow these steps:

  1. Change the ALLCCPRM JOB statement to your site’s standards.
  2. Specify the following parameters:
    HLQ

    Specifies the high-level qualifier of the data sets to be created.

    CPMVOL

    The volume where the central parameter file is allocated. If the EPVOL control statement was specified the section "Generate the Configuration Zap (GENCZAP), CPMVOL should match the value given for it.

    SYSDA

    The generic or esoteric unit name for permanent disk allocations.

  3. Run the job.

    The central parameter file is allocated.
