The File Comparison display (6.4) detects differences in application or system data files. You must have read access authority to the files that you want to compare.

If changes were found in Steps 1 through 3, verify that these changes agree with the data center’s change authorization records and procedures. |

Obtain the names of key production files from the Operations staff. Compare current and archive copies of the files using the File Comparison display (6.4). Note changes detected by the comparison. |

Select a sample of these changes and reconcile with input transactions. |
