Getting Started

All users logging in to Agile Vision are directed to their home page. The home page contains the following items:

• A list of open tasks assigned to the user
• Links to the following:
  • Agile Vision Getting Started Guide
  • User Story Edit page
  • Virtual Wall (for managing tasks)

Assigned Tasks List

The following information displays for each task in the task list:

• Associated product and release
• Associated user story, sprint, team, and assigned user
• The hours break-down

The tasks sort alphabetically by sprint end date.

If no tasks are created or assigned, the task list is empty.

If you are not yet a member of a product team, you do not see any assigned tasks.

From the tasks list, you can do the following:

• Click the task title to view or edit task details.
• Click the user story title related to the task to view or edit user story details.
• View the task list for a different product, release, sprint, team, or assignee.
• Edit task properties inline except hours remaining which is populated based on hours worked.
• Configure the tasks table to add or remove columns.
• Indicate if you want to receive chatter feeds on the task object.
• View tasks filtered by multiple criteria.

How Do I Start?

To help you quickly get started using Agile Vision, click the link for the Agile Vision Getting Started Guide. The Getting Started Guide provides an overview of the sequence of tasks involved in creating and managing a product in Agile Vision. The document then guides you through each task.

Although sometimes there are several methods for doing the same task (creating a user story, for example), the Getting Started Guide describes only one method. To view other methods, see the online help.
