Create a Theme

Themes are optional for products and any team member assigned to the product can create them. Themes are containers for grouping similar user stories together. You can select multiple themes for a user story available for the selected product. If a user story is assigned to multiple themes, you can see the user story listed in each theme detail.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Agile Vision menu and select Themes from the Planning menu.

   The Themes page appears.

2. Click New Theme.

   The Theme Edit page appears.

3. Complete the following fields.

   Theme Name

   Defines the name of the new theme.

   Required: Yes

   Limits: 80 characters

   Product

   Specifies the name of the product that the theme is a part of. A user can select only products on which they are a team member.

   Required: Yes

   Description

   Specifies information about the theme.

   Limits: 500 characters

4. Do one of the following:
   • Click Save to create the theme.

     The Theme Detail page appears. Edit general theme settings and associate user stories with the theme.

   • Click Save and New to create the theme and then create additional themes.

     The theme is created, and the fields on the Theme Edit page clear.

   • Click Save and Close to return to the Theme list.
