Manage a Sprint
The daily standup meeting serves to keep the team up-to-date with what each member is working on and any issues that might impact the completion of tasks. User stories and tasks can be reevaluated and re-scoped.
During the sprint, the team uses the Sprint Tracking pages to manage the status of their assigned tasks and user stories. They can:
- Specify detail about the sprint on the Sprint Information page, such as start and end dates, goals and risks, hour metrics, retrospective notes, and system information. This page also lists teams assigned to the sprint and their velocity.
- Update user stories on the Sprint Backlog & Charts, as well as track the sprint and team progress through burndown and allocation charts.
- Update task status on the Virtual Wall page provides task status.
- Managers and product owners can track sprint progress from the Sprint Backlog & Charts page
- At the end of a sprint, the team usually demonstrates the features that they committed to delivering at its start. Afterwards, the team typically conducts a retrospective to discuss issues that arose during the sprint and ideas for improvement. The retrospective comments are added to Sprint Information.
