Delete a Task

You can delete a task on the User Story Detail page, or by accessing the Task Detail page from the Sprint Backlog & Charts page. When a task is deleted, the following changes take place:

• The task is removed from the Sprint Backlog & Charts page, from the User Story Detail page, and from the Virtual Wall page.
• Any hours reported on the task are removed
• The guideline on the hours burndown chart updates to reflect the new total estimated hours for tasks
• The actual burndown line burns down any remaining hours on the deleted task
