Add a Note or Attachment to a User Story

You can attach relevant documents, such as planning documents, notes or graphics, to a user story so that team members can view them.

To upload a document to a user story

  1. On the Backlog page, click the title of the user story you want to work with.

    The User Story Detail page appears.

  2. In the Notes and Attachments section, click Attach File.

    The Attach File page appears.

  3. Browse and select the path or URL to the file location and click Attach File.

    A message appears when the file has been uploaded.

  4. Click Done.

To add a note to a user story

  1. On the Backlog page, click the title of the user story you want to work with.

    The User Story Detail page appears.

  2. In the Notes and Attachments section, click New Note.

    The Note Edit page appears.

  3. Enter the subject of the note in the Title field.
  4. Enter the note text in the Body field.
  5. Click Save.
