How to Upgrade to the New Release

The system administrator can upgrade CA Agile Vision or CA Product Vision to the new release so that users can benefit from the new and enhanced features. Summer 2012 is the latest release of CA Agile Vision and CA Product Vision. The upgrade includes installing and deploying the package, and configuring user profiles.

The following diagram describes how the system administrator upgrades CA Agile Vision or CA Product Vision to the new release.

Perform these steps to upgrade to the new release:

1. Review the prerequisites.
2. Delete all scheduled jobs.
3. Install the new package.
4. Verify the installed package.
5. Specify the Vision licenses.
6. Update user profiles.
7. Run the upgrade jobs.
