About Using CA Product Vision with CA Idea Vision

Ideas are created in CA Idea Vision communities and appear in read-only format in CA Product Vision. You cannot edit the properties of an idea in CA Product Vision. You can link an idea to a product, requirement, or source.

Ideas display in the following ways in CA Product Vision:

• All ideas entered in CA Idea Vision appear in the Inbox list, with the community source name in the Type column.

  Idea Vision - community_name Community

  Displays the name of the CA Idea Vision community.

  For example: Idea Vision - Agile Community

• Ideas linked to a requirement, product, or source appear on the detail pages for the requirement, product, or source.

You can link products and requirements to ideas in CA Idea Vision. Note the following rules:

• An idea can be linked to multiple products.
• A product can be linked to multiple ideas.
• An idea can be linked to multiple requirements.
