How to Estimate Resources and Effort for a Requirement

A requirement can have multiple resource roles. For example, a development requirement might need a manager role, a designer role, a developer role, and a quality assurance role. You can associate resource roles with a requirement and estimate the amount of effort it will take for each role to complete the requirement.

To estimate the resources and effort for a requirement, you must:

  1. Add a resource role for the requirement.
  2. Estimate the effort for a resource role.
